Can you believe another week has passed so quickly. Thankfully this one blessed us with more daylight. I truly underestimate how much light hitting my skin and eyes soon after waking does for my mood. And yes, I’ve been researching it more than any normal person should.

Did you know that there’s actually a measurable amount of sunlight one should get in the morning to support a healthy circadian rhythm. When I tell you my mind was blown when hearing this a couple of weeks ago…

And to make your mind spin a bit more, did you know the glass in our windows can reduce the measurable amount of sunlight by almost half. I actually downloaded an app that measures sunlight and did the experiment myself.

Apparently, getting around 100,000 lux before 10 a.m.-ish is ideal to help kickstart the timer in our bodies to produce healthy amounts of melatonin later on in the day. No pill needed.
